2. Data we process
Browsing data
As with any website, the systems running this site record some technical data sent automatically by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser and operating system, server response code. This data is used only to operate the site, keep it secure and detect misuse; it is not used to identify visitors.
Data you send us
If you write to the e-mail address or call the numbers shown on the site, we process the data you provide (name, company, contact details, content of the request) in order to reply.
Product catalogue
Browsing the catalogue requires no registration. Requests for information about a product are made by e-mail and are handled as described above.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Operation and security of the site – legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Replying to requests and pre-contractual activities (quotations, offers, product and service information) – steps taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Legal obligations, such as tax and accounting, if the request leads to a business relationship – legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not use data for marketing or profiling.
4. Hosting and recipients
The site is hosted by Aruba S.p.A. (Ponte San Pietro, Italy), which also provides the e-mail service and acts as data processor under Art. 28 GDPR, on servers located in the European Union. Data may also be processed by authorised staff and, where necessary, by advisers (for example our accountant) bound by confidentiality. Data is never disclosed to the public or sold to third parties.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
The site does not use services that transfer data outside the European Economic Area: fonts, libraries and images are hosted directly on our own web space.
6. Retention
- Browsing data: for the period set by the hosting service for technical logs, unless needed to investigate offences or misuse.
- Correspondence and requests: for as long as needed to handle the request and, if a business relationship follows, for its duration and the periods required by law (normally 10 years for accounting records).
7. Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 GDPR) by writing to info@zagoautomation.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
